This is an optional field that accepts a single text or numeric column, or a measure. The values in this field are displayed as data point labels.

Use the Text Label Position setting to choose whether labels are displayed inside or outside the data point markers. You can customize their appearance in the Inside Labels and Outside Labels settings.

If this field is left empty and Use Category as Label is enabled, the visual displays values from the Categories field as data point labels instead.

You can apply any supported Power BI aggregation, such as Sum, Average, Minimum, Maximum, First, Last, or Count, and use field parameters to switch between measures dynamically.
