This Power BI IT Helpdesk Workload & Ticket Analysis Dashboard provides a three-page view of service desk activity. It helps IT support teams examine ticket workload, compare request categories, and analyze how support activity changes across periods and locations.
The report was created by Qasim Tasawar for the FP20 Analytics ZoomCharts Challenge in July 2025. It uses an IT helpdesk dataset containing more than 1,000 support tickets.
The report combines workload, trend, category, and geographic analysis across three pages. Its main analysis areas include:
Combo and Combo Bar PRO visuals support trend and workload comparisons, while Timeline PRO adds chronological exploration. Map PRO provides geographic context, and Donut PRO presents clear ticket-category breakdowns.
Move between the three report pages to examine different aspects of helpdesk activity. Click active chart elements, timeline periods, map locations, and donut segments to filter related visuals and investigate individual ticket groups.
Preview the interactive dashboard online or download the .pbix template to review its data model, calculations, visual settings, and report structure. Replace the sample data with your own service desk records to adapt the dashboard for internal helpdesk reporting.
