The following report allows end users to easily find answers to these questions:

  1. What are the 5 most popular games from 2008 to 2019, yearly?
    For all years combined, the top games are Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, PUBG Mobile, Boom Beach, and Idle Miner Tycoon: Cash Empire. The data can also be filtered by year.

  2. Which game developer had the highest average game rating?
    Magma Mobile.

  3. Who are the 3 game developers with the highest income from their App Store games between 2008 and 2019?
    The top developers are Ninja Kiwi, Ironhide, and Ndemic Creations.

  4. What is the average rating and price trend for games from 2008 to 2019?
    The average price was higher in 2008 and has decreased over the years, while ratings have followed the opposite trend.

  5. What is the most popular language for games in the App Store from 2008 to 2019?
    English, followed by Arabic and Chinese.

  6. What are the 3 games with the most user rating counts from 2016 to 2019?
    Clash Royale, PUBG Mobile, and Idle Miner Tycoon: Cash Empire.

  7. What are the most popular game genres every 3 years since 2008?
    The leading genres are Games, Strategy, Entertainment, and Action.

  8. For new developers entering the App Store, what is the recommended price point?
    A top recommendation would be a price of $4.99, as this price range generates the most income.

  9. For new developers entering the App Store, what genre is recommended?
    The suggested genres are Games, Strategy, Action, or Entertainment, as they generate the most income.

  10. Is there any correlation between genre, game size, and price?
    Some correlation exists, particularly for games in the Games genre, those that are free, and those above 136 GB.
